I.              SIN MUST BE OWNED. 

(a.)       Personally.

(b.)       Persistently.

(c.)        Penitently.

II.            SIN MUST BE CONFESSED. 

(a.)       Admission. (of God’s verdict)

(b.)       Acknowledgement. (Of God’s promise)

(c.)        Acceptance. (Of God’s gift)

III.         SIN MUST BE FORSAKEN.

(a.)       Repentance.

(b.)       Rest.
